caught in their frantic rush along the interface of land and sea, echo the
sometimes mindless pace of our own sometimes frantic lives. The birds, sandy
beach, and shells are cast in bronze. The sea is represented by an abstract
shape cast in stainless steel. The contrasting metals and styles emphasize
the duality inherent in most systems.
